How does NissanConnect work with Amazon Alexa?

The future is now. Voice commands, as well as vehicles that are able to do something while you are not physically inside of it or beside it, are no longer limited to the fantasies laid out by science fiction writers. Technology has advanced a great deal. If you have seen television at any point over the last few years, you have probably run into commercials for the Amazon Echo with its Alexa service. Just speak a command, and the system will do as you say. Nissan’s forward thinkers saw an opportunity to pair this service up with NissanConnect, its own system of keeping drivers connected to their vehicles. How does NissanConnect work with Amazon Alexa? total solar eclipse with trees and clouds surrounding it

2017 solar eclipse viewing events in Kansas City

Have you heard the chatter? This month, the moon’s shadow will come between our planet and the sun, and because the two celestial objects appear to be the same size to us (because the sun is 400 times wider than the moon, but also 400 times farther away from the planet), this means the sun will disappear beneath that shadow. Daylight will briefly turn to twilight on August 21, and we just happen to be in the path of totality, which means the sun will be completely covered for us! If you want to make the day more special, there are some 2017 solar eclipse viewing events in Kansas City MO that you can check out. Read the rest of this entry »

How does Nissan Rear Door Alert work?

All too often in the summertime you hear sad stories involving kids or pets having been left in the back seat of a car on a hot day. These completely avoidable tragedies are terrible to hear about, but even if you consider what can happen when you leave everyday inanimate objects in your back seat on a hot day or overnight, that kind of forgetfulness can still be troublesome. It is important that you are always aware of what you have placed back there. What if you bought a bag of ice for the party and forgot it? You’ll return to a puddle and a waste of money, not to mention a mess to clean up. Nissan wants to help remedy what can be simply an inconvenience or an all-out tragedy with a new warning system called Rear Door Alert. How does Nissan Rear Door Alert work? Read on for the details.
